American Cruise Lines announced the christening of its second Mississippi River paddlewheeler, the American Eagle, on April 25, 2015 in New Orleans. Mayor Mitch Landrieu will be the guest of honor and his wife, Cheryl Landrieu will christen the new riverboat.
