The city of New Orleans has played an integral part in the growth of American Cruise Lines, and we couldn't be happier than to have the First Lady of New Orleans, Cheryl Landrieu, to christen the American Eagle American Cruise Lines has announced the christening of their second Mississippi River paddlewheeler, the American Eagle, on April 25th, 2015 in New Orleans. Mayor Mitch Landrieu will be the guest of honor and his wife, Cheryl Landrieu will christen the new riverboat.
