Coast Guard helps ailing passenger

A helicopter team from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City medevaced an ailing passenger Wednesday from a cruise ship about 95 miles east of Cape Lookout. Coast Guard officials said that a call came Wednesday afternoon from the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship Grandeur of the Seas, advising that a 71-year-old woman was suffering from abdominal pain.
