FL: Mayor Buckhorn Says He'll Lead Effort to Expand Streetcar

Jan. 20--TAMPA -- Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn stepped up Tuesday to take the lead on determining the future path of the TECO Streetcar line. The mayor had vowed more than two years ago to save the struggling streetcar that travels between Ybor City and downtown Tampa, but not much has changed since then, he concedes.
