Frank Tolley, 93, raised hundreds of pounds for St Paul's in Sale and the Cash for Kids charity by doing the zipwire across Salford Quays from the top of the Imperial War Museum North, where he volunteers As indicated by his logbook, in one 35-hour period alone, Frank flew back to back missions over Dresden and Chemnitz, with barely a moment's sleep between 18 hours flying time and briefings.
