Penarth Town Council to raise flag for Commonwealth Day

PENARTH Town Council is set to raise one of 650 flags across 38 commonwealth countries on Monday, March 9, to celebrate Commonwealth Day. Residents are invited to join the Town Council in the grounds of West House for the ceremony where a specially written Commonwealth Affirmation will be read out before the raising of the flag at 10am.
