CMoG gets patent for its electric hot shop

An electric hot shop developed by the Corning Museum of Glass for its glassmaking demonstrations was recently awarded a U.S. patent, CMoG announced Tuesday. However, CMoG and the company that has been making its hot shop equipment for nearly 20 years - Seattle-based Spiral Arts - developed an electric system that was recently awarded a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
