Carnival Corp. to start using new Dominican port in October

The Doral-based cruise giant said an $85 million facility in the Dominican Republic, Amber Cove, will welcome its first visitors in October. Between that date and April of 2016, six different Carnival Corp. brands will send 13 ships to the port for a total of 57 calls.
