Monochromatic terminal sheds any pretense about Pier 27 role

Passengers return to the Crown Princess of the Princess Cruises line which is docked at the new Pier 27 terminal in San Francisco, Calif., on Monday, September 22, 2014. The new terminal will be inaugurated on Thursday, but has already had several large cruise ships dock in the past few weeks, the new cruise terminal at Pier 27 has reshaped the Embarcadero by adding another activity center while strengthening the traditional maritime uses.
