Costa Concordia captain to hear verdict: hero or coward?

The trial of Francesco Schettino, captain of the sunken Costa Concordia, is drawing to a close in Tuscany, with the verdict expected today or tomorrow. Schettino was at the helm of the 950ft-long cruise ship when it smashed into a reef near Giglio Island in January 2012, killing 32 people.
