Singapore well-positioned to be cruise hub in Asia: Analysts

Singapore's strong international air hub and ready-built infrastructure are significant advantages for the Republic as it aims to be a cruise hub, said analysts. SINGAPORE: The Asian cruise industry is growing - 970 cruise ships are estimated to sail in the region this year, 12.7 per cent higher compared to a year ago.
