Taiwan and Royal Caribbean International , one of the world's three major cruise lines, will jointly build an international cruise liner terminal in Magong City, in outlying Penghu County, Minister of Transportation and Communications Yeh Kuan-shih said Thursday. As an island country, combined with improving cross-Taiwan Strait ties, Taiwan has all the advantages for developing and promoting cruise liner tourism, Yeh said in a radio interview.
